Terms of Service

1. Purpose

These Terms of Service (ToS) define the rules applicable to the use of the Bookday platform, published by Bookday Company, SAS registered with RCS Paris 989 097 449, registered office 10 rue de Penthièvre, 75008 Paris.

Bookday allows studios, teachers and companies to manage their bookings and payments, and end users to book and pay for courses.

2. Roles

  • Member: Person who books or purchases courses/packages via Bookday.
  • Admin (Studio/Teacher): Professional or structure using Bookday to publish offers, manage a schedule and collect payments.
  • Bookday: SaaS platform publisher, technical intermediary (neither seller nor course organizer).

3. Account Creation

  • A Member account can be created (i) automatically during a first booking or purchase, or (ii) voluntarily by registration (web/app).
  • An Admin account is created at the request of a studio, teacher or company.
  • The user undertakes to provide accurate information and to keep it up to date.

4. Authentication

  • Members: Passwordless login via secure link sent by email.
  • Admins: Login via secure credentials (or SSO if applicable).

5. Waitlist and Notifications

  • Members can join session waitlists by providing their email address.
  • Email addresses collected for waitlists are used solely to notify members when a spot becomes available.
  • Joining a waitlist does not create a member account and does not guarantee a booking.

6. Bookings and Payments

  • The service contract is concluded between the Member and the Admin.
  • Cancellation and refund conditions are defined by the Admin and displayed before booking.
  • Payments are processed by Stripe or PayPal. Bookday does not store any banking data.

7. Responsibilities

  • Bookday provides a SaaS service and commits to reasonable availability.
  • Bookday is not responsible for the quality, safety, compliance or cancellation of courses offered by Admins.
  • Maintenance interruptions or technical incidents may occur.

  • Admins (studios/teachers) are responsible for processing their Members' data. Bookday acts as a GDPR subcontractor.
  • Any collection of sensitive information (e.g., health) is the exclusive responsibility of the Admin.

9. Intellectual Property

The Bookday platform and its content (code, design, logo, trademarks) are protected by copyright and remain the exclusive property of Bookday Company.

10. Branded Apps

These ToS also apply to branded mobile applications deployed for studios/clients, without modifying Bookday's role or responsibilities.

11. Modifications

Bookday may modify these ToS. Any substantial modification will be notified to users.

12. Applicable Law

These ToS are governed by French law. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent courts of Paris.
